The transmitter will send the audio at 5.8 GHz to the wireless amplifiers up to 200 feet (up to 60 feet indoors). You will enjoy true CD quality with uncompressed digital wireless audio. Each receiver has a mono speaker amplifier built in and connects directly to any passive loudspeaker. The built-in amplifiers deliver the efficiency of conventional class-D amplifiers at ultra-low audio distortion.
Each wireless amplifier measures only 5 x 3.5 x 2 inches and is easily mountable to a speaker.

Great Wireless Kit!

I ordered the Amphony 5.8 Ghz wireless speaker kit to connect the rear speakers of our new theater system (Yamaha receiver and Jamo speakers) and was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked out. The speakers sound perfect and none of us have noticed any difference between the sound quality of the wireless and wired speakers.
Setting up the devices was extremely easy and took less than 10 minutes.
It's been two months now and for the most part I even forget that the speakers are wireless. To me, that is best part for all and the best review I can give them. There are never any annoying hisses or pops like the other wireless speakers I've used, and I've never had to do any sort of adjustments for the sound to stay clear. They just work!
An Amphony representative even called about a week after I received the speakers to make sure everything was working correctly. I did not have a need for any help, but I was really impressed by that level of customer service.

The 1600, A reasonably priced wireless adapter system

I use this to drive my Klipsch large bookshelf speakers in my Home theatre as the "A" Front speakers (my main ones in a 7.1 system). The signal is clear, I get no pops or loss even when people pass/stand in between the signal. It is sending from its location in a closet to speakers at least twenty feet away. It easily carries the high wattage signal sent from a Sony STRDN1030 Receiver with no clipping.
