Great Purchase

Everything was delivered very quickly and the speakers sound great! Very loud for such small speakers and they have great range, the sub also hits the very low and sounds great as well. I couldn't be happier with the purchase!

Great for movies

The sound quality is great for a little system. I was hoping that I could use it for music but it lacks the midrange needed for higher quality stereo sound. The sub took me a little while to place properly before I got what I was looking for since it's forward facing. I love the sound with movies/TV which is what its intended for and why I give it 5 stars.

Mini-system price, Rock-Solid-Performance!

I purchased this set for my Mother, hooked up with a lower end Denon receiver, about an hour from opening the box to setting up locations and volume levels correctly. These speakers may be small in size, but weigh about 7-8lbs each, and needed nearly a month break in period. Don't get me wrong, they sound great out of the box, once the speaker suspensions adjusted to their use, the sound quality nearly doubled, just like every other POLK HiFi product I've owned. The 10" sub leaves a bit to be desired for settings and inputs, but, once you break it in, it pairs quite well with the other speakers in this setup.
Overall, for a lower budget HiFi Home-Theater solution, you can't beat this set. Even though POLK got bought out by DEI, the POLK quality is still very much alive. I would buy this set for a starter or first time HiFi Home-Theaterer, it's not disappointing at all!
