Almost Top of the Line

We got these for my in-laws and I set them up with their HT system. All I can say is "wow". Unless you are a picky audiophile, I don't see how these speakers can fail to deliver. Soaring highs, powerful mid-tones, thundering base. Well, perhaps not as strong in the base range as system with a sub, but very close. For anyone looking for an easy home thearter speaker set-up, the ML 262 set should be more than meet you needs. We tested it with the new Avatar Blu-ray and were blown away. Better than the theater, for what it is worth...

Motion 262 5-Channel Speaker Set (Piano Black) and MartinLogan Motion 10 Floorstanding Speaker (Black Ash, each) and REL T1 CHERRY 10" cherry 300W powered subwoofer and BOSE 301-V Stereo Loudspeakers (Pair) - Black and Onkyo TX-NR809 THX Certified 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver (Black) This is my home theater system and what a combination it is: The MartinLogan 262 5 - channel set is used for my Center Speaker and my back and side Surround sound Speakers. The MartinLogan Motion 10 is used for my Front Speakers. The Bose V-301 is used for my High Speakers and the REL T1 is my Subwoofer. All driven by the Onkyo TX-NR809. Together producing sounds I don't even have words for! Crisp, clear, bold and speechless! The highs like never before. The mids like really. The lows that you feel. And when it's all put together you want to know if it is live and in your home... Playing vinyl I heard more than I have ever heard before, playing digital took me back to the days at Woodstock! DUDE! Now 3D BD Movies I have never jumped or look to see if a door closed or if someone was in the house like I do now. There is only one thing I will change and that is the High Speakers nothing against Bose but there is no comparison with the MartinLogan Speakers! I hope I can help someone with their decision when it comes to speakers, just imagine what the MartinLogan high end speakers sound like! Well it's time for me to go and re-live Woodstock live again!
